Summary of Presentation: The Presenters will start reviewing this paper by illustrating the motivation, definition of metareasoning followed by summarizing the four important aspects regarding to ‘self’ stressed by this paper: self-modifying code, self-knowledge, self-understanding, and self explanation. In the ‘strengths and weaknesses’ session, the scope of this paper of justifying agent from human-like behavior or rational behavior will be raised as a weakness. Then different metamorphoses of meta-meta reasoning and their corresponding performance in terms of efficiency and completeness will be discussed as strength. Finally, the role of heuristic function in this metareasoning scheme will be stressed as a missing point in this paper. In ‘alternative session’, the presenter will raise two potential schemes to incorporate the fuzzy logic with meta-reasoning. Finally, the presenters will lead the class to discuss the five raised questions in the conclusion session of this paper.
